“If you fail to plan then you are planning to fail” I think most of us have heard this quote before, however many of us do not really think hard enough about its meaning and this is one of the biggest reasons most people are failing in their business, their health and their relationships.
I know that most people mean well and really deep on the inside want more success for themselves however they simple have no plan for a better business, they have no plan for better health and no plan for better relationships.
I believe that planning is one of the most important steps towards accomplishing anything.
I know for a fact that most people do not properly plan at all and I know that even some of my coaching clients do not do it at the level that I wish they would.
When it comes down to planning you need to plan for more than just a day, for more than just a week, a month, a quarter or even a year.
However for todays sake we are just going to focus on two parts of this equation:
The analytical in me wants me to consult Webster for the real definition of the word Focus and the ADD in me wants me to just make up a definition for it or simply recall a quote or two I heard like “What you focus on expands” or “Change your focus, change your life”. By the way ADD is nothing I am diagnosed with, just something I hope I have since studies conducted have shown us the the most successful people in the world are mostly ADD so I want to be in that class. LOL …
See what I mean without the right focus you can go into a tangent and be all over the place and I believe that this is one of the major reasons why people are failing in their careers, relationships and so on. It is because they lack the right focus and have no clue that their struggles maybe a result of their inability to focus.
